Venerable A Vineetha Thero
Venerable Amukotukande Vineetha Thero, also known as Venerable A. Vineetha Thero, is a distinguished Sri Lankan Buddhist monk, educator, and creative artist, widely respected for his profound spiritual teachings, dedication to education, and outstanding contributions to Buddhist music and cultural preservation.
In 2023, he served as the chief architect in establishing the Distance Education Council (DEC), a visionary institution focused on making education accessible to all. He currently holds the positions of Rector and Executive Director of DEC, leading its growth and impact islandwide.
